Earth revolves in orbit around the Sun in 365 days, 6 hours, 9 minutes with reference to the stars, at a speed ranging from 29.29 to 30.29 km/s. The 6 hours, 9 minutes adds up to about an extra day every fourth year, which is designated a leap year, with the extra day added as February 29th.
54 revolutions I have made.
This last revolution I have experienced eight different time zones, more if I am to include digital meetings.
I have, in this last revolution, visited Kazakhstan, USA, Italy, England (twice), Greece, Indonesia, Vietnam, and transited in Qatar.
I have also visited many places in Sweden to hold presentations and also meet people to talk about play and pedagogy.
In all the places I visit I take the time to look at the playability of the location, the spaces for children, the spaces that permit play, the play spaces too. I notice what children are doing, to the best of my ability in order to learn.
and try the food and notice nature
and talk to people.
I feel fortunate to have this opportunity to see children and play from different perspectives.
There would be more photos… but this is all I can load… memories of this last revolution. Thank you to everyone I met and interacted with.
Have a happy happy birthday. I think I’m going to reflect on your reflections now.
