I so agree with your perspective on the role of the adult in regard to children's play/discovery/learning and this piece resonates deeply. I will share it with those I work with because it so aptly articulates (in other words than our adopted statement) the intent of our program philosophy. More lenses give opportunity for multiple views and refined interpretation.

Another well-articulated piece I agree with completely! This is also totally consistent with my view of the role of humans in ecosystems. I talk about ecocultures as cultures that consciously emulate and nurture the unconscious workings of ecosystems (including homeostasis, regeneration, reciprocity, interdependence, etc.). I use the term ecological education (or, in a nod to you, Earth-centered education) to describe education where the adult's role is to emulate and nurture the natural learning of children, including homeostasis, regeneration, reciprocity, interdependence, etc..
