I read recently in a newly released book the phrase “playworkers make themselves equal with the children” and repeatedly throughout the book the insistence of adults and children being equal is essential for play.
Thank you... it's my hope... that people are prodded to think and to make their own minds up about whatever I write... I did get an email on this one where someone suggested that if we are all equal then does childhood still exist? Which i think is a fascinating question.
